My name is Yuliia and I am the creator of this portal. I am looking for support Mykolaiv region I am from and where my mom works (now remotely) as a regional pediatric neurologist. Check out our interview for the Kalamazoo TV channel here.

Mykolaiv region, where my parents and I were born and raised has been fighting back against the Russian army for more than a month right now. Russians didn't succeed to occupy us but they are actively shelling us and sending rockets, killing civilians as well.

My mom and I have been in touch with the local healthcare administration and this is what we learned about their needs:

  1. Tactical medical supplies are in HUGE scarcity. CAT Tourniquets in particular. The goal is to get up to 1000 of these ($32,000 + shipping to Ukraine or actual items).
  2. Diabetes and heart medications (the hope is to get them in Ukraine, in that case, we are looking for ~$10,000 with the hope to get them in Ukraine). The best way to get them now is to pay with cash as soon as they become available at the warehouses. I am collecting donations for when such occasions arise and will be reporting about spending.

NOTE: they specifically mentioned that they DON’T need neither general humanitarian donations nor DIY and non-certified tourniquets - they are swamped in those and have to think where to find another warehouse to store them. We want to provide the most targeted help that HELPS and does not add more work to people in the war zone.

In the case of having extra funds or supplies, I will be donating them to Nova Ukraine.

Please help us by donating through PayPal [email protected]
